Interplanetary Shock (or CME Arrival)
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Location: STEREO A
Event Time: 2016-04-27T09:00Z ( STEREO A: IMPACT )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: IMPACT
STEREO A: PLASTIC
Activity ID: 2016-04-27T09:00:00-IPS-001 (version 2)
Quality of ICME Signature: -1 (unspecified)
Note: increase both in solar wind speed (450 to ~600 km/s) and magnetic field (around 8 to 17 nT), this arrival is compatible with the double halo CME of 2016-04-25. EUVI though shows a small equatorial CH west of the erupting AR. This arrival can therefore also be a HSS, solar wind speed of ~600 km/s persists for more than a day, which is more compatible with a HSS, the CME might be embedded in the stream.
